Reindex covers all the traditional library-functions in one compact interface, including:

• Cataloguing in MARC-format with downloading.
• Z39.50 server/search.
• Reporting/Statistics
• User selectable language at login. Currently English, Norwegian, German and Danish are available.

New functions are introduced continually. The following is a list of the latest new functionality introduced:

Some functions planned for introduction include:

Automatic-cataloguing. Simply enter the ISBN and the system will be automatically updated when the records become available via Z39-net. Cart functionality for reservations, print or e-mail of result sets.

Additional support for electronic resources. (Links, Newsletters, TOC and subscriptions).

Scalability:

The Reindex service is very scalable and has already been installed and running at a site, for over two years, that has 2.8 million bibliographic records and 5.8 million items.
