Security

The security of your system is a major focus of our service. Because of this focus, we ensure security through a number of processes, steps and functionality.

Your data is fully backed up and copies are distributed across multiple locations. These backups are used to restore and test our ability to quickly bring your system back up should a failure occur.

Our servers are fully redundant, which means should the primary server fail, we can quickly switch you to the backup server and again have you up and running.

Reindex also offers an automated login and creation of user records procedure based on data obtained from Microsoft networks (AD).

This combination helps to ensure your data is safe, your system is safe and your library has a reliable system.

Reindex' E-resources have two sides . An administrative side, which is used for handling of data on procurement, licensing and statistics. It can be used to manage E-books and management of electronic sources in general. A side facing the end user, where the end user on Reindex' portal can achive an overview of the E-Resources, to which he/her has access.

If the user clicks on a title in this list he will be signed into resources automatically - or semi-automatically. See more information on this on ERM Tutorial
